The Tarahumara population is decreasing due to lack of food, malnutrition and disease.  The temperatures in the mountains are extreme and the Tarahumara children are exposed to these extremes, living in the bitter cold.

With local Church support from Bethel Ciudad Juarez and assistance from the Missionary Alliance at E. U. and Canada, we have been able to provide a nourishing basic diet to the most marginal individuals in the Tarahumara population. This sustenance and nourishment has helped to increase basic health in the Tarahumara community as well as teaching them a more healthy lifestyle.
